(More customer reviews)We have a number of Laguiole knives (some of which my wife picked up while in France), so when I saw the price on these, I immediately ordered 2 (one for us and one as a gift). At any rate, we used them last night for Thanksgiving and they worked fine. The knife was sharp and the set helped carve the turkey very well. It wasn't until we were washing the dishes that my wife noticed that these looked different than our Laguiole steak knives and cheese knives: the Laguiole signature was not on these blades. My wife then asked me if these were "knock offs". I grabbed the wooden case for the set and found a "Made in China" sticker. I guess that I should have expected this at the price. Needless to say, these don't have the same look and feel as our other Laguiole cutlery, but they work.
